Phoodie Friends

I have a few foodie friends that I can always rely on to feature great recipes. If you have seen enough of my posts you know that Kittencal is one of those friends. I recently made two of her recipes. In my rush to get dinner done and on the table I did not snap any pics (major foodie faux pas). I want to make sure they do not go unnoticed. I will, of course, make them again and make sure I have time to take pics. In the meantime, try them out and if you take pics feel free to send them to me. I’ll feature them with the recipes.

Tangy Crockpot Wings

I recently made these for the Super Bowl. I had some leftover. I brought the leftovers into the office the next day. Some of my fellow foodie coworkers tried the wings. I don’t remember the exact quote. I think something about them being phenomenal. In fact I think it was more of a guttural moan they made when they were eating them.

Garlic Chicken

One of the things I love about Kittencal’s recipes is that I usually have all the ingredients at hand. As I previously mentioned, I am battling anĀ allergy to wheat. Regular breadcrumbs are out of the question. For this recipe I used cornflake crumbs. You can find them in most natural food stores. They worked like a charm and tasted great.

***Heads up: Do your friends and family a favor. Don’t be a “close talker” after you eat the Garlic Chicken. Trust me.
