It’s the time of year where people will be hosting or attending a lot of holiday parties. For me, appetizers are key to a successful party. I’ve noticed that cheesy dips tend to disappear faster than anything else. It’s hard to find a guest that doesn’t like cheese.
With the holidays rapidly approaching I knew that I wanted to test a new-to-me appetizer recipe for this month’s Secret Recipe Club. I was thrilled to see that I was assigned Kristi’s blog Veggie Converter. Kristi enjoys cooking whole foods for herself, a vegetarian, her husband, a meat-eater, and their two undecided kids. She shares a variety of recipes including vegetarian, vegan, bacon, beef, chicken, cheese and pasta dishes. She has a lot of great fall inspired recipes including Slow Cooker Pumpkin Cheesecake and Pumpkin Sweet Potato Cupcakes but I was focused on making an appetizer.
I chose Kristi’s White Pizza Dip which she adapted from How Sweet It Is. The dip is a perfect combination of cheese. The fact that it has freshly roasted tomatoes combined with chunks of garlic gives it a texture and flavor that most dips are lacking.
I didn’t make any changes to the recipe so I’m going to send you over to Veggie Converter to get the recipe.
